Dana founded Mainstream Green, Inc. after serving on the board of directors and as a volunteer at two environmental or sustainability non-profits. She is a marketing and branding expert who began her career in advertising at General Electric. Afterwards, she worked at eminent NYC advertising agencies, doing creative work for Barbara Walter’s Specials and ABC Network Television. Dana created a new position for Ben-Gay that increased sales by $20 million in one year. Her work has brought numerous new products from concept to market success, including Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Lea & Perrins Steak Sauce, and Seagrams Wine Coolers. Other powerful brands for which she developed advertising were American Express, Dow Jones & Company, Colgate, and many other famous household names. Dana is a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. She also attended Harvard University and NYU Institute of Film and Television, School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design.
Joe is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Roth Industries and Roth Global Plastics, a multinational family of companies with locations in more than 40 countries, $250 million in sales and 1,100 employees. They manufacture and sell products that produce, distribute, manage and store energy, contain fluids or direct highway traffic.
A degreed engineer (BSEE, cum laude) and licensed (PE- NYS), and a MBA, Joe has a strong international background as a consultant, manufacturer, sales executive, for both technical and non-technical products, in both specification and commodity channels. He has a wide breadth of experience across multiple industries and product lines, largely focused on water, wastewa- ter, infrastructure and industrial products and applications. Joe is actively involved with Center State CEO.
Nancy was a casualty insurance agent for 31 years. She is a Syracuse native who has served her community through volunteer work for more than 25 years, with such organizations as League of Women Voters, St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation, Interfaith Works of Central NY, and The Rescue Mission. Most recently she organized the largest group of women political volunteers in Central NY, and was a leader of the 10,000 strong Seneca Falls Women's March of January, 2017 and 2018.
Kevin is Syracuse University’s executive director of social media. He served in SU’s Office of News Services for nearly 19 years, including 12 in the dual role of executive director and University spokesman, responsible for overseeing local and national media relations, crisis communications, internal communications and promotions consulting/planning.
Mr.Morrow is the recipient of numerous national and local honors, including 15 awards from the Syracuse Press Club; three awards from the Syracuse Ad Club; and two Exemplary Achievement Awards from Syracuse University.
He is a member of CASE, the Public Relations Society of America, the Syracuse Press Club and the Syracuse Ad Club.In addition, Morrow is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society and an honorary member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.
Steve is a partner in the law firm of Smith, Sovik, Kendrick & Sugnet, P.C. He is a litigator. Prior to joining Smith Sovick in 1995, Steve was an attorney in the US Navy JAG Corps for five years, where he acted as a prosecutor/trial attorney, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and as counsel to Rear Admiral F.M. Dirren, Jr.
Steve handles a wide range of litigation matters (personal injury, employment law, construction accidents, professional malpractice, motor vehicle claims, commercial litigation, contracts,etc.), and environmental contamination. He has represented high profile clients such as the National Basketball Players’ Association (NBPA) and has appeared as a legal analyst on television programs such as The O’Reilly Factor and Hour CNY. Steve regularly appears before state agencies responsible for investigating claims of discrimination and EEOC offices in every state from Delaware to Maine. He is a graduate of Cortland College and California Western School of Law, in San Diego, California.
Alex Gerson is the Financial Center Manager at AmeriCU Credit Union in Camillus NY. A 2016 graduate of the Leadership Greater Syracuse program, Alex has been involved with many community events and causes. Born and raised in Syracuse NY, Alex earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Economics at University of Vermont. He worked for banks and credit unions in Hawaii for 18 years before returning to CNY in 2012.
Alex and his wife Catherine live in Tully, NY where they look for ways to reduce their carbon footprint- such as having active composting sites throughout their property, as well as actively buying in bulk with their own reusable packaging whener possible. They plan to grow a variety organic vegetables and herbs, in addition to cultivating their apple trees. They hope to one day be energy independent with solar and/or wind turbines.
